Our coffees are packaged in nitrogen flushed, vacuum sealed one-way valve bags within hours of roasting. We roast to order as much as humanly possible and never ship coffee that’s been roasted more than five days prior to your order shipping date.

Roasting & Shipping Schedule
Our roasting days are Monday through Thursday. We normally do not roast on Fridays. All orders placed before 6am (Eastern Time) Monday through Thursday will generally be packed and shipped that day with the exception of limited roast orders (see limited roast information below).
All orders placed after 6:00am (Eastern Time) Monday through Wednesday will generally ship the next business day.
Orders placed after 6am Thursday and before 6am Friday will ship Friday if all coffees ordered are available. Otherwise your full order will be shipped on the following Monday, or Tuesday in the event Monday is a holiday.
Note: occasionally issues such as weather, production delays or quality control issues may arise that will delay your order. Please allow us up to an extra business day to fill your order should one of these rare events occur.
Limited roast coffees roast only on the Monday (or Tuesday in the event of a Monday holiday) listed by coffee on our website. We close orders for limited roast coffees at 6am (Eastern Time) on the roast date. In the event we have additional limited roast coffees available, we will either keep the shopping cart open or open the cart late afternoon—often we will have very limited excess inventory and we sell out quickly.
All coffee and merchandise are subject to availability. Occasionally we may need to impose quantity limits on orders, discontinue products without notice or may run out of stock on items, even if you have already placed your order. If any of these issues arrise, we will issue a full refund for such item.
Shipping Methods—UPS SurePost
Our standard shipping method is UPS SurePost at a flat rate of $5 for any purchases up to 9 pounds, anywhere in the continental US. UPS SurePost still offers easy tracking and the consistency and reliability of the UPS Ground network, while teaming up with the service of the United States Postal Service.
UPS SurePost is an economy, residential, ground service. This service combines the UPS Ground network with final delivery typically provided by the U.S. Postal Service, but could also be final delivered by UPS. For further information please visit www.ups.com.
Upon UPS SurePost pick up, all customers which provide email addresses will receive tracking information. Once UPS Surepost picks up packages the arrival time is beyond our control. However we are always happy to assist you with tracking packages or other delivery issues. Please contact us at our roastery should you have issues and need assistance.
Please Note: We are unable to change a delivery address for packages shipped via UPS SurePost after they are picked up from our roastery.
UPS Ground, 1-Day, 2-Day and 3-Day shipping is also available for shipping packages. All packages over 9 pound will default to UPS Ground shipping. Upon UPS pick up all customers which provide email addresses will receive tracking information. Once UPS picks up packages the arrival time is beyond our control. However we are always happy to assist you with tracking packages or other delivery issues. Please contact us at our roastery should you have issues and need assistance.
Note: UPS services, including SUREPOST, GROUND and EXPEDITED, do not deliver on Saturdays, Sundays or holidays. Please plan accordingly. UPS does offer Saturday delivery on their Next Day Air and Second Day Air services for an additional charge. Please contact us for pricing and additional information if you need an order to arrive on Saturday.
Below is a map of the UPS standard ground delivery times. Please note that UPS does not guarantee shipment time on ground shipments. If you need a guaranteed delivery date, please use the Next Day, 2nd Day or 3 Day Select shipping options.

Shipping Methods—US Postal Service (USPS)
US Postal Service (USPS) Priority Mail estimates their package arrival 2 – 5 days after the item has been picked up. Packages are usually picked up at our facility the day after processing because of limitations by the local post office.
While not guaranteed, packages usually arrive to the west coast in three business days. US Postal Service does not guarantee shipping times so we cannot be responsible for delays in delivery. Currently, we cannot automatically email tracking numbers for US Postal Service shipments—should you need a tracking number please email us at email@example.com or call us at 978.635.9033.
Addresses entered that are shipping to P.O. Boxes and non-US addresses will be automatically shipped via US Mail.
Picking up in Acton
In consideration of the concerns over the COVID-19 coronavirus, we are trying our best to minimize both your risk and ours. We have disabled the option to pickup your order in Acton until we feel the time is safe. Thank you for your understanding.

Our hours at the roastery are 10am – 5pm (EST) Monday through Friday. We are closed most national holidays, including the day after Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve Day.
All non-US addresses will be shipped via US Mail International Priority, unless otherwise specified. Actual shipping costs for international orders will be calculated upon processing. Unless specifically requested by adding a note to your order, shipping charges will be calculated and charged to your credit card upon processing.
